2012 7's Season Statistics
2012 Post-Season Quick Facts - Davenport is coming a fall that saw the Panthers finish with an 11-3 record in their first full year of sevens play...In their first tournament this fall, the Panthers won the National Qualifier hosted by Bowling Green State to earn the automatic bid to Nationals....Two of Davenport's three loses came against top-ranked Life, one against their first team and one against their second team in the 7s Tournamen that Life hosted...Davenport used a variety of lineups this fall with18 different players getting playing time...Nick Glocke led the Panthers in tries (9), conversions made (22), and total points (89) in 12 caps for Davenport...Two-time 15s National Tournament MVP, Jean Piere Eloff, started all five games of the National Qualifier at BGSU but hasn't played in any of the other 7's matches...Travis Kamstra and Mason Baum led the Panthers in caps this fall with 13 apiece.
USA Rugby Sevens National Tournament History for DU – Davenport will be making its first appearance in the Sevens National Tournament...this is the first year Davenport has played a full sevens season...Davenport has won the previous two USA Rugby D1-AA 15s National Championships.
