Brooke Knoll, and Senior
Mariah Newton each represented the Panthers as First Team All-American selections. Knoll was also selected as the inaugural NAIA National Player of the Year.
Knoll (Castle Rock, Colo.) earned her First Team selection and National Player of the Year honors following her junior season in which she was tabbed the WHAC Offensive Player of the Year and a First Team All-WHAC selection. Knoll finished second in the WHAC in goals per game (4.60) and finished third in points per game (4.47). She totaled 70 goals, which set a new Davenport University school record, and tallied two assists on the season while recording a .858 shot on goal percentage.
Gray (Rockford, Mich.) finished second in the WHAC in caused turnovers per game (3.20) and was tied for sixth in ground balls per game (3.18). She set the DU single-season record for caused turnovers (52) and the single-game record for caused turnovers (9). Gray has compiled team highs in both caused turnovers (52) and ground balls (54).
Newton (Grand Rapids, Mich.) earned her spot as a First Team NAIA All-America selection following her season where she led the WHAC in draw controls per game (4.27). Newton totaled 45 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers as a part of the DU defense that allowed just 121 goals on the season in 17 games (7.12 goals per game).
Hanna Bush,
Jessica Lemcke, and
Tara Pluger each represented Davenport as Second Team All-American recipients following their outstanding seasons in which they each earned All-WHAC honors. Bush (Grand Rapids, Mich.) led the Panthers in scoring on the season with 76 points on 27 goals and 49 assists. She led the WHAC in both total assists (49) and assists per game (3.00). Lemcke (Whitby, Ont.) finished fourth in the WHAC in goals per game (3.33) and sixth in points per game (3.67). She recorded 58 goals and two assists on the season while she also recorded 43 ground balls and caused 16 turnovers. Pluger (Rockford, Mich.) earned her Second Team All-American selection following her season in which she totaled 17 goals and 43 assists to total 60 points. She recorded 49 ground balls and compiled 16 caused turnovers. She finished second in the WHAC in total assists (43) and recorded a .833 shot on goal percentage.
