NCA NAIA All-Girl Results DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Davenport cheer team competed in the NAIA All-Girl Division finals on Friday and won their second NCA College National Championship. Last season, the Lady Panthers won the All-Girl Division III championship. After moving to the NAIA All-Girl Division this year, DU qualified in first place, and scored a 91.90 in the finals to win the National Championship. Davenport beat out four other teams in the final round to secure the championship.
Davenport finished prelims in first place, which allowed them to perform last and the team could see how the rest of the field performed before they hit the mat. Head coach

Katrina Wireman and Celia Woodfill, led the team into their final routine of Friday.
After performing a near perfect routine, which only had .5 points in deductions, the Davenport cheer team posted a final score of 91.90. The Lady Panthers won their second NCA College National Championship after they won the NCA All-Girl Division III last year, and moved to the NAIA All-Girl Division this year and beat four other teams to win the championship.
The Lady Panthers are the only All-Girl squad to win two back-to-back National Championships from the state of Michigan.
