WHAC Pool Play Schedule

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport Men's Lacrosse team won the inaugural Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament a year ago and now they know the path they will need to take to repeat as the conference recently announced the schedule for the pool play this fall. The winners of each pool will then meet in the spring for the tournament championship. Davenport defeated Indiana Tech in the spring of 2013 by the score of 12-6.
 
Davenport University will play host to one of two Pool Play events that the conference announced will be the seeding for the spring WHAC Tournament. The Panthers will meet Aquinas and Lawrence Tech on Sunday, October 13 here at DU with the other two schools meeting as well.
 
The Panthers and Saints get things started with a 12:30 p.m. faceoff which will be followed by a 2:40 p.m. contest between DU and Lawrence Tech and then a 5 p.m. faceoff between LTU and Aquinas.
 
The other pool features Indiana Tech, Siena Heights and Lourdes and will be played in Adrian.
 
The top seeds from each pool will meet in the conference tournament championship match sometime in the spring at a location to be announced later. The second seeds from each pool as well as the third place teams will also meet.
