GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - After leading his team to a perfect 3-0 week that included a 12-6 win in the inaugural Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference championship game, senior
Jordan Richtsmeier was named the conference player of the week. Jordan currently leads the Panthers with 47 points as he has 19 goals and a team best 29 assists. DU will head to Virginia this weekend for a battle with Virginia Tech and Clemson.
Jordan Richtsmeier became Davenport's first ever WHAC Player of the Week after helping the Panthers to wins over Grand Valley State, Indiana Tech and Simon Fraser. Richtsmeier, a senior attacker, recorded a pair of goals and two assists in DU's 12-9 win over rival Grand Valley State on Wednesday.
Jordan then followed it up two more assists and three ground balls in the WHAC title game in which DU won 12-6 over Indiana Tech.
Davenport will be in Virginia this weekend to face host Virginia Tech as well as Clemson.
