GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Bob Clarkson is excited to announce the signings of East Grand Rapids' Nick Henderson and Rockford's Ryan Hartnegel for the 2013 season. With the addition of Henderson and Hartnegel, Clarkson now has three recruits for next season.
Nicholas Henderson, who played three years on the Varsity team at East Grand Rapids, will play attack for the Panthers. Henderson earned All-Region honors his sophomore season and was awarded All-State honors his junior year helping East Grand Rapids finish runner-up in the State Championships. This past summer, Henderson was on the team that won the Dick's Sporting Goods Atlantic Cup Tournament Championship where he earned MVP honors. The tournament features elite rising seniors. Nicholas plans to study Business at Davenport.
Ryan Hartnagel joins the Panthers after playing two seasons for Rockford High School. In his first season at Rockford, his junior year, Hartnagel earned 3
rd Team All-State honors for his play on defense. Hartnagel also played football at Rockford. Ryan plans to double major in nursing and business at Davenport.
