NEW HAVEN, Ind. - The 2010-11 women's golf season came to a close on Friday at the WHAC Championships as Davenport remained in fourth place behind champion Indiana Tech, Madonna and Aquinas. The Lady Panthers were led on day two by
Korinne Diss who posted an 87 for a two day total of 178.
Indiana Tech has claimed the 2011 WHAC Golf Championship with a two day team score of 668 to beat the rest of the field by 23 shots. Madonna University came in second at 691 and was followed by Aquinas (708) and Davenport (721).
Korinne Diss led the Lady Panthers on day two through a muddy and slushy course as the sophomore posted an 87 to go along with her 91 from day one.
Brittany Helmus finished with an 89 and was followed in scoring by
Kasey Bylsma with a 93 and
Emily VanOeveren with a 94.
The season comes to a close for the Lady Panthers.
