GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University Head Men's Golf Coach Phil Sweeney would like to announce the signing of David Veen out of Grand Rapids Christian HS. Veen will join the Panthers golf team in the fall of 2010.

After claiming three straight WHAC Championships and then finishing in 3rd this past season, the Panthers are slowly building back up as they recently signed GR Christian's David Veen.

Veen earned All-Conference honors in 2008 and 2009 as he will begin his senior season this spring. David also was named All-Area and All-Region in 2009.

David is the son of David and Cheryl Veen and is undecided on a major at DU.
