Rachel Buckner scored in the first half at Indiana Tech on a beautiful assist from Jaelene Huf to start the scoring for the Panthers. Indiana Tech came back and scored early in the second half to knot the game at one. Just a minute later, Teresa Smith-dack powered one home to recapture the lead for DU. Great defense by Amy Roos, Kim Blackburn and co. and the stubborn play by goal keeper Lisa Brown kept Indiana Tech off the board and gave the Panthers their third win in their last four games. With the win, DU moves into fifth place in the WHAC and are beginning to position themselves for a WHAC tournament berth. |
