Coaches Wayne Vandemerwe and Carl Whitehouse didn't wait long after their season to call in the calvary. In this case, the calvary are eight highly-touted high school seniors that have recently committed to attend DU next fall. The players are Kristen Haight from Forest Hills Central, Jordan Sinclair from Clarkston High School, Erin Vermeersch and Daniella Bugli from Utica Eisenhower, Jaclyn Zimmerman from Anchor Bay High School, Erika Morrison from Avondale High School and Megan Powers and Shayla Crossman from Hudsonville High School. Coupled with DU's returning talent, these recruits will help take Davenport's women's soccer program to a much higher level next season. |
