Panthers Shutout Saints 1-0

The women's soccer team has been battling numerous injuries throughout the year and have played many close games in a tough conference but today they posted their most impressive win of the season as they defeated Siena Heights 1-0.  The win lifts DU to 4-9-1 on the year and 3-6-1 in WHAC play.  Rachel Buckner scored the lone goal of the game in the 62:00 as she put the ball by the Saints keeper with no assist.  Davenport will travel to Concordia University this Saturday before closing out the regular season against Aquinas College next week.

Hockey Team Prepares for Grand Rapids Tourney

Davenport Men's Hockey team will host the annual Grand Rapids Tourney this weekend as they welcome teams from around the area to Patterson Ice Rink.  Friday's match-ups feature Grand Valley State against Calvin College at 7:00 PM and will be followed by the host Panthers taking on Hope College at 8:00 PM.  The Consolation game will take place on Saturday beginning at 3:00 PM and the finals will take place at 6:00 PM
