Carl begins his second season as both the men's and women's soccer coach for Davenport University. Whitehouse, a native of Wolverhampton England, will guide the Panthers programs with the assistance from Bob Cole. Carl took on the role of Head Coach after a very successful college career in the NAIA at Aquinas College and Davenport University. During his time playing at Aquinas College, Whitehouse led the Saints to the WHAC Championship and was named an NAIA All-American. He then spent two years in goal for Davenport leading the Panthers to the WHAC Tournament title and Region VIII Championship game in 2005. Carl has had quite the experience on the sidelines as well as he was an assistant for Aquinas College, Western Michigan University (helping both the men and women to MAC titles) and one year for Davenport University. Carl lives in Byron Center with his wife Karen and two children Ashton (7) and Anja (6). |
