On a cold and windy night, Davenport hosted the Saints from Aquinas in what turned out to be a classic.  Davenport controlled the pace early and Elfid Kovacevic scored 11:07 into the game to give the Panthers the early lead.  Aquinas then was able to finish off two plays just eight minutes apart as Chris Smith and Erich Jackson each notched rebound goals to take a 2-1 lead into the half.  Kovacevic notched his second goal twelve minutes into the second half on a great pass from Tony Deakin.  Both teams traded chances down the stretch until Aaron Boswell took a long pass from Chris Allen and snuck it by the Aquinas keeper. The Panthers and keeper Carl Whitehouse then dodged several AQ chances in the waning minutes to win the game 3-2.  DU will now play WHAC champion Cornerstone on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the conference semi-finals.
