2008-2009 GCAA All-Region Teams | 2008-2009 GCAA All-American Teams

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The 2009 PING All-Region and All-American honorees have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). A total of 60 players across four regions - North, South, Central and West - earned all-region honors for 2009.

Boone, who was recently named an NAIA 2nd Team All-American, saved his best season for his final one. The two-time All-American led the Panthers in scoring average with 73.7 as he finished in the Top-10 in 11 of his 13 events he participated in. Boone, who hails from Wyoming, MI posted a low round of 67 during the year and finished nine of his 25 rounds at par or better.

Thomas, who also led the Panthers D2 Hockey team to back-to-back National Championships, had his best season during the spring campaign leading the Panthers to an 11th place finish at nationals. Adam appeared in 23 rounds with a final scoring average of 75.0. His top finish of the year came in the NCAA D-1 Detroit Titans Invite where the senior from East Kentwood fired rounds of 80, 73, and 69 which was good for a 5th place finish.

Both Adam and Nick will go down as laying the foundation for Davenport Men's Golf.
